Nature and travel run through my veins, as a little boy I was lucky enough to discover a lot of the world. With our family we went on the most adventurous holidays where days of jungle trekking were no exception, I also learned scuba diving at a young age.

The wild landscapes and underwater world have fascinated me from an early age. For me, the Ecology & Wildlife programme was a logical choice. During my first internship I came into contact with sheep grazing, which later became one of my greatest passions. I also did an internship as a guide in a nature reserve in South Africa and I did research on iguanas in the Netherlands Antille. After my education, I immediately started working as a shepherd in and around the Loonse and Drunese dunes national park.

On 1-12-2022 I started working as a self-employed person as an arborist and to this day I combine that with sheep grazing.
